Anne Huisamen (CFO / Director HR) with a wealth of knowledge and experience obtained during her career in the legal arena. She is responsible for all the financial and human resources portfolios of the business. Perie Coetzer (National Head Property collections and field agents) with more than 10 years’ experience in this industry. He is well known in the market for excellent results and service delivery, executed by his national team of professionals.

Annali Grobler 10 years’ experience as collections manager (National manager call centre – unsecured debt and post write off property portfolio’s) with exceptional expertise and experience as leader of a well-established call centre department. Her department focus on relationship building to enhance recoverability. Erika Stadler with more than 5 years’ experience (National manager vehicle and asset collections) well embedded in the vehicle and asset finance collections areas.

  • We have a dedicated team in the field that conduct visits to debtors to obtain documentation for affordability assessments, conclusion of repayment arrangements and if no affordability exists and no repayment arrangements can be concluded, they try to obtain a power of attorneys for our clients to realize fixed assets, saving time and unnecessary legal spend. Property assessments are done to allow our clients to make informed business decisions.

HOMELOANS RISK MANAGEMENT

  • The Homeloans Risk Management Department have a national footprint that specializes in debt rehabilitation, education, security realization, collections etc. across the various stages of default.
  • The team trace and interact with our clients’ debtors telephonically and or as required conduct site visitations to bonded properties and known employer addresses.
  • Our aim as a specialist service provider are to educate through conversation in person or otherwise to obtain buy in that’s beneficial to all concerned. A positive outcome such as a repayment arrangement, a distressed restructure (financial information such as the income and expenditure of households) an assisted sale delivers all positive results.
  • Our reporting which contain for example information such as condition & pictures of the property, information on occupants and or neighbors etc. allow our customers to make well informed decisions. Where applicable we supplement these with obtaining affidavits that might assist in court proceedings.
  • Delivery and or obtaining documents as instructed I.e. Wills, death certificates, executor details etc.

OFF BALANCE SHEET HOMELOANS COLLECTIONS

  • Our Off-Balance sheet Homeloans Collections Department consist of a call centre environment supported by a national footprint of field agents that specialises in optimal recoveries on property finance facilities where the matter had been written off as it is not cost effective to realise the property I.e. Outstanding municipal clearance figures and or levies exceeds the possible return of the property and or the debtor can’t service the account. The bulk of these matters are linked to low balances and possible reputational risk issues I.e. Pensioner occupied; child headed households etc.
  • Each agent are responsible for a dedicated que of accounts enabling then to have a long-lasting relationship with each debtor ensuring continuity. The bulk of these debtors’ income are at the lowest end of the market and affordability as well as experience showed us that 50% of current PTP’s performs every month with a best success ratio of 2 out of every 3 month’s payments been made such relationships are key to optimal recoveries.
  • The team trace and interact with our clients’ debtors telephonically and or as required site visitations conducted when no contact been made and or when debtors start to default, and we can’t get hold of them.
  • Our aim as a specialist service provider been to educate through conversation in person or otherwise to obtain buy in that’s beneficial to all concerned. A positive outcome such as a repayment arrangement based of affordability and or an assisted sale if able to negotiate settlement proposals with all concerned. (Municipality, Body Corporate, bank etc.) Funding for such sales compromises of family members willing to assist or obtaining a willing buyer seller position.

VEHICLE AND ASSET FINANCE RISK MANAGEMENT

  • We do telephonic tracing of debtor’s country wide with visitations to work / home address’s if and when any matter is not resolved telephonically.
  • Our platform consist mainly of field agents that work from our office’s (Gauteng, WC and KZN) , fully supported by the company in terms of soft and hardware with serviced vehicles equipped with GPS’s and cell phones (ANPR – Lite) to conduct site visits as required. This sets us apart from our competitors as field agents in general are reliant on own transport as well as own infrastructure and with the current economy and fuel prices they try and avoid visitations due to the cost aspect thereof.
  • Areas of operation of our agents overlaps, giving us the advantage to rotate files without success timeously, allowing different approaches, ultimately the competitive edge for success.

TRACING

  • Our tracing dept / efforts will impact positively on our client’s (banks / attorney’s) ability to effectively speed up the collections / legal collections process. (Speed to cash)
  • Telephonic tracing of debtor’s country wide to obtain right party contact and or obtain required information of client’s (banks / attorney’s) debtors as requested as far as possible (Home / Work address’s as well as contact information I.e., contact numbers / email addresses etc.) Our aim been to get the debtor to also provide us with contact details of a possible next of kin.
  • If instructed our offering also includes visitations to debtor’s given addresses if not able to obtain any or sufficient information telephonically.
  • We do negotiations to resolve accounts in arrears (NPL’s) I.e., Repayment arrangements, Mandates to sell bonded properties etc. as per our client’s guidelines.
  • We deliver and obtain / oversee the signing of documentation by debtors as required by our clients.
  • We do visitation to possible known addresses provided by clients to determine best possible timelines for service of documents. (This will include meetings with clients, neighbours, places of work etc to understand expected timelines debtors normally be at given addresses and or to determine possible new residential / work addresses should we ascertain that the client already left the given addresses provided.
  • Feedback will be provided in a report format supported with pictures with date and time stamps with recommendation in terms of client expectations.
